Flower Care for Tulips

Tulips are unique—they keep growing in the vase! Use cool water (they prefer it cold) and fill only 2-3 inches high. Too much water makes stems bend dramatically.

Remove all foliage from the stems, as tulip leaves decay quickly in water. Less foliage also gives the blooms a sleek, modern look!

Trim stems straight across (not at an angle like other flowers) and re-cut every day or two. Tulips will continue growing and moving, creating a dynamic, ever-changing arrangement!

Keep tulips cool and away from direct sunlight to slow their growth. They naturally bend toward light, so rotate your vase if you want them to grow more upright!
